About the agency
The story of a Hampstead institution that still answers its own phone.
Est. 2002
The agency was founded in 2002 by Livia, a former nanny who believed childcare was too important to leave to a database — and who knew, from the other side of the front door, exactly what a good placement takes: honesty about hours, fairness about pay, and a match made by someone who has met both sides.
The standard she set then governs every match today. Nine stages for every placement. Au pairs and nannies interviewed before families meet them. A director's sign-off on every match. And a telephone that gets answered — usually within ten minutes, when you ask us to call you back.
What we believe
A database can filter by postcode. It cannot tell you who will be patient at 6:45am on a school morning. People can — if they've met everyone involved.
Accurate information, no hidden costs, vetting stages in the open, honest pay for au pairs and nannies. If a number changes — like the statutory wage each April — our pages change with it.
A placement only lasts when the au pair or nanny is as well-matched as the family. We represent both honestly, and we say no when a match isn't right.
Call before 8pm, Monday to Friday — or request a callback and we'll ring you within ten minutes.
Within ten minutes, during opening hours.
